Another attractive feature of Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan is a venue that is set aside for all those with an interest in the Irish Language. The person with the few words of Irish or none at all, is as welcome as the fluent speaker. The venue contains many displays of interesting material and the overseas visitor always gets a feel for Irish culture at this venue 'Ionad na Gaeilge' will be open during the Fleadh weekend.
Comhairle na Mumhan Treoraí na Gaeilge Eibhlin Ni Mhaoldomhnaigh presents a wonderful exhibition every year including photographs of Comhaltas activities in the province, articles, displays and many interesting projects all on the Irish language.
An entire programme of Irish themed events and experiences will be run including Ciorcal Comhra, Irish Singing, Guided Walks and tours, Irish language talks etc. We hope to develop an exciting and inclusive programme centred around our native tongue for Fleadh 2017.
Be sure and drop into Eibhlin over the Fleadh weekend in Cork School of Music where a warm welcome along with a cúpla focail awaits you
Ná déan dearmad cuairt a thabhairt ar Ionad na Gaeilge. Do come along and use the Cúpla focal. Beidh Fáilte romhat.
