If a competitor is taking part in 2 or more competitions at the same time, it is the competitor's
responsibility to inform each venue using the Late Slip below which should be completed and handed into the clerk in each venue. Clerks will hold competitions open for a max of 15 mins if you have handed in a late slip. If you do not hand in a late slip, the competition may be closed five minutes after the last available competitor has performed

Video Permits

Video permits for individual competitions can be obtained from the Fleadh Office in Blackwater Community School.

At the June 2026 Comhairle na Mumhan meeting, a decision was taken to limit the number of video recording permits issued for all team competitions — Céilí Bands, Grúpaí Ceoil, Céilí Dancing, and Set Dancing — to a maximum of two recording permits per team performance.

Group Leaders/Branch Secretaries are requested to nominate two designated recorders to video record each performance by a team. Recordings may then be shared by the designated recorder with parents and group members via WhatsApp, email, appropriate private channels within the team (not on social media).

Important Conditions:

  • Recording is allowed only where you have prior permission, affiliation with the team and competitor(s), and a valid permit.

  • Recordings are for private use only, not for use on social media.

  • Each permit is valid for one specific performance only.

  • Permits are issued solely to the named videographer in the form below and are non-transferable.

  • A separate form must be submitted for each competition you wish to record.

  • Please ensure you have entered the correct email address below - you will be sent a copy of this permit and must present this to the Call Clerk / Steward (printed hard copy) BEFORE recording.

  • Adjudicators comments/Competition Results cannot be recorded.

  • Recording of performances cannot hinder the flow of the competition.

  • Comhaltas are requesting this information for the sole purpose of facilitating recording of performances in Comhaltas competitions and will only hold this information in line with our GDPR policy which is available here.
