Munster Fleadh 2025

Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2025 will be held in Cork City from July 12th-19th 2025. The Munster Fleadh Cheoil Festival has something to offer for everybody who enjoys Irish traditional music, song, dance and culture.

Dancing

There will also be top-class dancing to be seen at the Munster senior and junior set-dancing/céilí dancing /sean-nós competitions from Wednesday, July 17th - Friday, July 18th in the MTU Sports Arena

There will also be a céilí in Douglas GAA on Friday, July 18th to which all set-dancers are warmly welcome to attend

Sessions

Sessions will also be found in pubs throughout Cork City during the Fleadh weekend featuring some of Cork's and Munster's finest musicians . Bring your instrument along and join in the craic or just come along and listen.

Street Entertainment

The Fleadh will bring a feast of open-air traditional music and dance to Cork City during the Fleadh with Elizabeth Fort hosting a series of outdoor performances.

Singers Club

There will be singing sessions aplenty along with the traditional singing competitions

to be heard at the Fleadh Singers sessions during the week featuring some of Cork's finest singers.

The Scoil Fonn agus Amhrán Slow Airs and Singing Workshops will take place in MTU Bishopstown Campus on Thursday, July 17th.
There are also 2 Polka & Slide Workshops with Maura O'Connor (Limerick) and Greta Curtin (Kerry).

Ionad na Gaeilge

All those with an interest in the Irish Language are most welcome to visit Ionad na Gaeilge in MTU Bishopstown Campus The person with the few words of Irish or none at all, is as welcome as the fluent speaker. The venue contains many displays of interesting material and the visitor always gets a feel for Irish culture at this venue.
