Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan Returns to Ennis in July 2027
Ennis is set to welcome musicians, singers, dancers and traditional music enthusiasts from across Munster and beyond as Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan returns to the county town from 11–17 July 2027.
Hosted by Clare County Board of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCÉ), the provincial Fleadh returns to a town with a proud history of hosting major traditional music events, including Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2016 and 2017 and Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan in 2019.
Renowned for its vibrant year-round traditional music scene, Ennis is also home to Fleadh Nua, Ennis Trad Festival, Consairtín and the Piping Heaven/Piping Hell Tionól.
Welcoming the announcement, Fleadh Executive Committee Cathaoirleach Garry Shannon said:
“Ennis has a wonderful tradition of hosting major Fleadhanna, and we're delighted to welcome Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan back in 2027. Traditional music is part of the everyday life of this town, thanks to generations of musicians, families, Comhaltas branches and local businesses who have nurtured and supported our musical heritage. We're looking forward to working with the entire community to make next July another memorable occasion.”
