Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2025 – Information for Competitors

Parking

There are 600 spaces available in the campus car park to the rear of the MTU Arena. Search MTU Bishopstown Campus Student Parking on Google Maps

Please note there is no overnight parking for cars or campervans permitted in MTU

Catering

The Food Court in C Block will be open from 8am each morning and provides a wide variety of dining options to suit all tastes.

 

Changing Facilities

Changing facilities will be available to dancers and groups in the changing rooms in the MTU Arena


Assembly Rooms

Wednesday/Thursday

Two assembly rooms will be available to dancing teams in the MTU Arena for assembly prior to their performance on stage. These rooms will be allocated to teams in the order they are listed on the programme.

5 Minutes per 4 Hand/8 Hand/Half Set

10 Minutes per Set


Friday/Saturday:

Four rooms located in the F Block adjacent to the MTU Arena are available for tuning/assembly to groups and bands prior to their performances on stage. The rooms may be used for a max of 20mins by groups and 15 mins by bands. The tuning rooms will be allocated to groups in order they are listed on the programme.


Admission Wristbands

All attendees must purchase an admission wristband to access the competitions. Admission charges are €6 for adults and €4 for juniors.

We also offer Card payment facilities at the doors.


Fleadh Souvenir Programme

The Fleadh Clár will go on sale from Tuesday, 15th July from MTU between 2pm-5pm. Programmes will be on sale at the competition venues from Wednesday morning.


Fleadh Office

The Fleadh Office will be located in the Information Desk in C Block for video permit requests, adjudication sheet requests etc.


Trophy Room

The Trophy room will be located in the Carmine Building (P106)


Late Slips

A late slip is required if a competitor has more than one competition on at the same time. These are available from the Fleadh Office and must be handed to the call steward at the competition for which the competitor will be late. (Please do not hand late slips to the door stewards). A competition can only be held open for 15 mins after the last available competitor has performed.


Withdrawal from Competition

Please notify the Fleadh Office or call steward at the competition venue, if you decide to withdraw from a competition.


Adjudication Sheet Requests

These can be ordered online at www.munsterfleadh.ie/shop or using a request form in the office. Cost is €1 per sheet and €2 postage. (Sheets for céilí bands and set dancing are €3 per competition). Online orders will close on Sunday, July 20th

 

Fleadh Merchandise

Official Fleadh Hoodies and t-shirts will be on sale in the Food Court in C Block.

 

Fleadh Results

Live Fleadh Results will be posted on www.munsterfleadh.ie/results and also on the Munster Fleadh Results facebook page.

 

Food and Drink

Please note there is no food or drink allowed in the competition venues in MTU Campus. Please help us keep the campus tidy by using the bins provided. A reminder also that there is no smoking or vaping permitted in the campus buildings.

 

Ionad na Gaeilge

Make sure to pay a visit to Ionad na Gaeilge in C Block during the weekend where a céad mile fáilte awaits all visitors.

 

Video Recording Permits

If you wish to record you child’s performance you must hold a Video Recording Permit. Please call to the Video Permits desk in the MTU Arena during the dancing competitions or in the Fleadh Office during the weekend to obtain your recording permit.
