- Workshops
An integral part of Fleadh na Mumhan each year is Scoil Fonn agus Amhráin workshops providing tuition in slow-air playing and traditional singing to scholarship winners from the six counties of Munster. The Slide and Polka Workshops is also a hugely popular part of the Fleadh programme. This workshop is open to any interested participants.
- Competitions
For many the most important part of a Fleadh weekend are the Fleadh competitions as competitors from the six counties of Munster will gather in Ennis seeking a coveted Munster title and a place in the All-Ireland 2020 in Mullingar. The 2020 Competition timetables will be available to view soon on our competitions page
An exciting programme of of concerts will take place during the Fleadh week
Line-up TBC
There will also be top-class dancing to be seen at the Munster senior and junior set-dancing competitions.

- Street Entertainment Competition
There will be singing sessions aplenty along with the traditional singing competitions
to be heard at the Fleadh Singers Club
Trad Sessions will be found in pubs throughout Newcastle West during the Fleadh weekend featuring some of Limerick and Munster's finest musicians. Bring your instrument along and join in the craic or just come along and listen.
The Fleadh open air Gig Rig stage located in Newcastle West town centre will bring a feast of open-air traditional music and dance during the Fleadh.
Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2020 will be held in Newcastle West from July 13th-19th 2020. The Munster Fleadh Cheoil is a week-long festival has something to offer for everybody who enjoys Irish traditional music, song, dance and culture.
