Ballyduff/Ballinvella/Ballysaggart CCÉ is delighted to be hosting the 2026 Munster Fleadh Cheoil in the beautiful and historic town of Lismore. Lismore has a distinguished history with Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan, having previously hosted the provincial festival in 2000 and 2006. 2026 will mark exactly 20 years since the town last welcomed this prestigious celebration of Irish traditional music, song and dance.

Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan, Lismore, launched by John Cummins TD

Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan was officially launched on Saturday 13th, June by John Cummins TD in the wonderfully historic setting of Lismore Castle. Members of Munster Council along with members of the local organising committee were present. The evening began with exceptional entertainment in the Gardens of Lismore Castle provided by the local musicians, singers and dancers. A huge programme of events are planned for the Fleadh between July 11th and 18th.

Lismore to host Fleadh 2026

Comhairle na Mumhan CCÉ are delighted to announce that Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan 2026 will take place in Lismore, Co. Waterford from July 13-18 2026 where it will be hosted by CCÉ Ballyduff/Ballinvella/Ballysaggart. The inaugural meeting to elect the Fleadh Executive Committee took place on Sunday, Dec 14th in Ballyduff.
